The Biomedical Library web site has two new pages designed to make searching the library’s various databases easier. The Database Tools Chart (http://southmed.usouthal.edu/library/ref/chart.htm) provides specific examples on how to use Boolean Operators, Truncation and Wild Cards in the library’s most commonly used biomedical databases. What the heck is a Boolean Operator you ask? Well, the new Database Search Tools & Strategies page (http://southmed.usouthal.edu/library/ref/tools.htm) provides definitions and illustrated explanations for your edification. Check them out and let us know what you think!
